Shooting Guard Pobi-Siaw in action for Lions.
Ashaiman Lions Shooting Guard Elvis Pobi-Siaw will not be training with his team ahead of the 2018 Tema Basketball League season’s commencement.

The league is slated to tip off on Sunday April 1 with Lions tipped as one of the likely league winners following two consecutive trips to the finals.

However, Basketballghana.com gathers the sharp shooter will be at the Ashaiman Lebanon Zone 2 Ecuador Park Basketball Court.

He is scheduled to headline a one day basketball clinic for members of the community from 14:00-18:00 GMT; participation is free.

Basic, intermediary and advanced levels of basketball training will be dished out to participants from Pobi-Siaw and members of Icons Basketball Club.

The “Team Arrow Basketball Clinic” has been arranged as a way to reach more young people with basketball and a means to keep them from venturing into unproductive ventures.

Pobi-Siaw who plays for All Nations University College is set to be in action for his side in the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Championship.
