The semifinal matchups of the 2018 Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship are set.

The games climax a three day basketball extravaganza at the University of Ghana (UG) which commenced on Thursday April 12 and ends on Saturday April 14 at UG.

With the quarterfinals completed, the final phase of the knockout stage will be played out at UG with this year’s winner to be declared later on in the day.

The first game has host and defending champions UG up against University of Education-Winneba (UEW); UG topped Group A while UEW finished second in Group B.

The final game in the semis has Accra Technical University (ATU) up against Takoradi Technical University (TTU); ATU topped Group B while Takoradi Technical placed second in Group A.

ATU and UG clinched the top spots in Group B and Group A after posting three game winning streaks which could be extended with a place in the final on the line.

The aforementioned pair has split the past four UPAC titles.
