Braves of Customs have clinched a 19 point win over Tudu Galaxy in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division matchup.

The team beat Galaxy 49-30 in the sole league fixture played at the Prisons Court in Cantonments in the final game of the round in the division.

This is Braves second win in as many games in the ongoing campaign after recording a 62-42 win over Reformers of Prisons in its first game of the 2018 season.

The win lifts the defending league champions to second place in the league standings with four points only trailing first placed side Prisons by a point.

Prisons have played a game more than Braves and the latter will fancy its chances of taking up first place in the league in the upcoming weeks.

Galaxy rank third in the standings and the loss is the team’s second in three games this season; Galaxy couldn’t repeat its win over Braves the first time both teams squared off for the first time last season.
