Fire (red) v Braves
Police (white) v Dunks

Ghana Police and Braves of Customs have outdone themselves in the latest round of games in the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division.

The pair recorded big wins earlier today at the Prisons Court in Cantonments, Accra in two games played out at the venue.

Defending league champions Braves ripped Ghana Fire Service apart with a 71-25 win in the opening game of the round.

Fire had no answers to Braves relentless full court press that stifled Fire’s ability to create with Point Guard Carlen Adjei double teamed for long stretches.

Braves scored the final eight points in the game to clinch its third straight win in as many games and maintain its winning run.

Police followed it by delivering a 70 point win over Dunks Club; Police won 70-31 over the young developmental side.

While Dunks did score off a couple of good moves, the young team couldn’t hold it together once Police settled and found its groove.

Dunks remain winless in this season’s competition.
