Rifles are up against two time league finalist Ashaiman Lions on Sunday May 13 at Tema’s Community 4 Court.
This tough matchup comes on the back of Rifles 39-68 loss to 2016 League Champions Nungua Coldstore in the immediate past round.
Through four games this season, Rifles have a win over Tema Rockets but have lost twice to defending league champions Tema Community 4.
Losing to Coldstore keeps Rifles in the bottom ranks of the standings and another loss to Lions is sure to affect the team’s chances of making the playoffs.
Lions on the other hand, have problems thus far in the season taking down the likes of Tema Community 2 and Teshie Rangers.
A 62-56 win over Rangers in the past round was enough to give Ashaiman its fourth win of the season in four games.
The tie is one of four to be played on Sunday.
