Amida dunks in game
The quarterfinal stage of this season’s Serbian Basketball League playoffs have tipped off with a pair of teams clinching wins in the first half of the elite stage.

Crvena Zvezd clinched an 89-50 win over Vrsac in the opening game and Borac secured an 83-75 win over Dynamic BG.

Game Two in the respective series will be played on Wednesday May 23 with Borac and Zvezd in pole position to clinch semifinal spots.

The playoffs continue this evening with the final round of games to be played between Partizan NIS and Mega Bemax and FMP Beograd and Zlatibor.

Ghana defender Amida Brimah is set to be in action for Partizan as he has been an instrumental addition to the team since arriving a couple of months back.

The 6 foot 11 inch Center signed for the team after starring on Austin Spurs NBA Gatorade League winning team.

He was named to the All Defensive Team after leading all players in blocked shots in the regular season and has chipped in nine points per games for Partizan in ten games.
