Prisons (orange) v Leopards

The final of four games in Week 7 of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) has ended with Reformers of Prisons falling 79-88 to Adenta Leopards.

The exciting game took place at the Aviation Social Center in a move aimed at improving the division’s visibility in Ghana’s capital.

Leopards 15 point lead was under threat as Reformers trimmed it to seven points in the final quarter on the back of Raymond Abagi’s barrage of three point shots; the Shooting Guard scored three straight shots from deep in the opening final quarter minutes.

Conversely, the Prisons committed several turnovers in the latter half of the quarter and got punished by Leopards with quick fast break layups.

Prior to the game, Ghana Police clinched a 46-32 win over Tudu Galaxy in the Women’s Division and its Male Team clinched an 82-69 win over DC Dynamics.

Tema Youth upstaged Tudu Magic 56-55 in the Men’s Division I on Friday May 25; all three games were played at the Prisons Court.
