Baniba Dodzi was voted Ghana’s finest in 2013
The biggest club basketball game in Ghana is just over a day from tipping off at the Prisons Court in Cantonments, Accra on Friday June 1.

Braves of Customs and Tema Youth headline Week 8 games in the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I.

Ahead of the big clash Basketballghana.com takes a look at big matchups. In this piece, Shooting Guards for either side Kent Fosu and Baniba Dodzi are the focus.

Youth Guard Fosu has been in superb form this season guiding his side to five wins in six games and three straight wins.

More importantly, he has been key in Tema’s shorthanded group that has consistently churned out impressive wins in the division.

Fosu has graduated from Youth’s Junior Side to play a key role in the first team this time around and scored the last baskets to clinch a 56-55 win over Tudu Magic in Tema’s last appearance in the division.

Veteran Dodzi continues to maintain his high level of sharp shooting and underrated playmaking abilities through four games in the campaign.

The 2013 Ghana Basketball Awards Most Valuable Player winner has drained big shots from deep to keep opponents at bay in Braves four game winning run in 2018.

Dodzie featured prominently for Braves in an international competition in Kenya where the team won four out five games.
