Ghana Police Service continues to hold onto first place in the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division standings.

The team’s 40-34 win over arch rival Braves of Customs over the weekend ensured Police remained at the division’s summit.

This past round’s games honored former ABL Chairman Benjamin Baafi; the legendary figure was laid to rest exactly a year on Saturday July 7.

Police’s win is its second straight victory over Braves this season; the team clinched a similarly close win with a 49-46 victory in the first round.

Police has 14 points from winning seven games this season and remains the only team yet to lose a game in the division.

Braves stay in second place with 12 points from winning five of seven games played; both losses have come against Police.

Reformers of Prisons 70-26 win over Dunk resulted in no change in standings for the team as it remains in third place behind the top duo.

Despite the loss, Dunk moves up to fourth in the six team rankings after featuring in more games than Fire Service and Tudu Galaxy. Below is the full breakdown of the standings:
