Adenta Leopards recorded a close win over Navy Warriors in the final game of the just concluded round of games in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I.

Leopards beat Warriors 52-50 at the Prisons Court in Cantonments to clinch its eighth win of the season and move past Ghana Police Service in the standings.

Thanks to the win, Adenta sits in second place behind runaway leaders Braves of Customs in the nine team division; Police ranks third.

Heading to the round, Police, Leopards and Tema Youth were tied on 18 points but Tema’s game against Reformers of Prisons was called off giving Adenta the chance to move ahead of the group.

Defending league champions Braves made it 12 wins in 12 games with a 70-58 win over Police to maintain its dominant winning streak as the end of the regular season approaches.
