Members of Tema Community 4’s Basketball Team will headline a basketball camp next week at the Community’s main court.

The clinic will run for five days beginning Monday August 13 and conclude on August 17 at the venue popularly known as the Chinese Court.

The camp is expected to have participants at the Junior High School and Senior High School levels respectively throughout.

Participants between the ages of 13 and 16 are the prime targets for the camp; this is the latest youth driven program from the 2017 Tema Community Basketball League Champions.

Speaking exclusively to BasketballGhana.com, Shooting Guard Kent Fosu highlighted the importance of the camp stating:

“Our aim is to teach the just completed JHS and SHS students how to play basketball the right way”; schools are on holiday and the camp comes as a timely intervention to keep youth individuals engaged positively.

The Chinese Court is the venue for the Tema Basketball League which is in its third season and Nungua Coldstore won the maiden edition in 2016.
