West African nations dominate the list of countries to compete in this year’s FIBA Africa 3×3 Cup in Lome, Togo from November 9-11.

Out of the 12 qualified countries, eight countries excluding Host Togo are located in the sub region; the zone’s Championship recently ended in Cotonou, Benin.

Ghana is one of the nine countries in line to compete for a place at the next World Cup following Uganda’s participation in the world event earlier this year.

Georgina Ntow, Balkisu Saleem, Naa Shika Moffat and Zenabu Mohhamed represented Ghana in Benin and end the country’s long absence in international competitions.

The country made it through to the next stage after surviving scare following losses to Mali and regional powerhouse Nigeria.

Democratic Republic of Congo, defending champions Uganda and Egypt are the only exceptions on the roster for the continental competition.

Below is the full list of countries that have made it to Lome, Togo:

Bénin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Togo and Uganda.
