Youth clinched a 68-49 win over DC Dynamics in one of two games played on Friday September 7 at the Prisons Court in Cantonments.
The win also served as a morale boost to the team that got hit with news of Assistant Coach Henry Aryee father’s demise; Aryee stepped up to the main role in the absence of Coach Emmanuel Quaye.
However, grabbing the 18 point win did little to improve Tema Youth’s standing in the division as it remains fourth behind leaders Braves of Customs and Ghana Police Service.
A major reason for Tema’s position is Adenta Leopards who remain a spot above Tema in third place. Leopards clinched a 72-45 win over Ghana Fire Service.
Leopards have been in fine form in the second half of the season and narrowly missed out on becoming the first team to beat Braves.
