Big guns storm to early wins in CAP 7 Men’s Division

Tesano Icons, Adenta Leopards and Teshie Rangers recorded wins on Day Two in the Male Division of the ongoing CAP 7 Memorial Basketball Tournament.

The competition tipped off on Friday, September 14 and is scheduled to end on Saturday. September 22 is being held in remembrance of former Accra Basketball League (ABL) Chairman Benjamin Baafi.

All games involving 14 teams with eight in the Men’s Division will be played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu; games on Day 3 will be played today.

Icons clinched a 47-44 win over Nima Novas as Leopards recorded a 20 point win via 58-38 victory over Adabraka CYO and Teshie Rangers beat Galaxy 41-32.

In the only game played in the Women’s Division, Braves of Customs clinched a heavy 49-19 win over Reformers of Prisons.

Later today, Ghana Police Service plays Galaxy in the Women’s Division at 15:00 GMT and will be followed by three games in the Men’s Division.

Tema Youth plays Galaxy, Rangers take on Navy Warriors and Leopards face Icons.
