Media Coordinator Sandy Asiedu with Coach Elvis Alupui

Ghana Wheelchair Basketball Media Director Sandy Asiedu has arrived in Connecticut according to information reaching Basketballghana.com

The young Communicator is in the United States of America for a week long session with the esteemed institution’s Tuakli Laboratory.

Tuakli Laboratory is a joint venture with the University of Michigan and funded Asiedu’s trip to know firsthand information regarding Ghana’s wheelchair basketball sector.

Following his arrival on Monday October 1, he is expected to participate in several programs run by the Lab including those involving Yale’s Basketball team.

Asiedu delivers a deeper insight into the affairs of the Federation, his day to day activities as a Media Director and challenges the sport faces in the West African nation.

Ghana’s Federation has consistently been plagued by acute financial battles forcing several representatives of the nation in international competitions to withdraw from such tournaments.

International Paralympic Medical Committee and Assistant Clinical Professor for Yale School of Public Health, Dr. Yetsa Tuakli- Wosornu is a lead figure in the program.
