Ghana Police Service Female Basketball Team has ended the 2018 Regular Season at the summit of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division standings.
The team ended with maximum points from winning all ten games in the division including a pair of big wins over major rival Braves of Customs.
This has been a superb year for Police with the team clinching the Cowbell After7 Afahy3 Tournament and CAP 7 Memorial Tournament.
Police ended the season with 20 points four points ahead of regular league winners Customs in second place with 16 points.
Ghana Fire Service finished in third place sharing the same record with Braves (six wins and four losses) but trailed Customs on goal difference.
Reformers of Prisons went through a wobbly stretch in the season where its participation came under threat due to administrative challenges. However, the team played out the season to finish fourth in the standings.
