Adabraka CYO leads the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II after the opening round of games was honoured at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

CYO leads the team roster after grabbing a 71-52 win over Teshie Rangers in one of the top fixtures in the previous round.

The 19 point win was enough to get CYO at the summit of the standings ahead of fellow Day One winners Dunk Knights, Novas Academy, Junior Reformers and Ada Knights.

CYO, Dunk, Novas, Reformers and Ada have two points respectively but are separated by goal difference Ada Knights having the lowest goal difference of the group.

The remaining half of the standings is occupied by teams that lost in the opening week including big names like Panthers and Tudu Galaxy.

Panthers lost 59-60 to Dunk while Galaxy lost 51-59 to Novas Academy in a series of shock results to open the season.
