Ghana’s 3×3 Basketball Team is in Togo for the FNB-Togo 3×3 Basketball Challenge this weekend per reports gathered by Basketballghana.com

The event starts today and ends on Saturday, October 27 with three nations participating in the competition; Ghana, Benin and host Togo are the participating nations.

Ghana will be represented in the Female and Male Divisions respectively and the competition comes at a time the nations’s Female side preparing for the African 3X3 Championship.

The continental competition takes places from November 9 to November 11 in Lome, Togo with 12 countries set to compete in the respective divisions.

A round robin series of games involving all three nations will be used accumulating points which will come in handy in qualification to upcoming 3×3 tournaments including the 2020 Olympics.

A significant number of players who last played for Ghana at the Zonal Championship in Benin two months ago are part of the contingent.

The Male side is led by experienced Shooting Guard Benjamin Debrah with David Maja and Godwin Tetteh returning to the side.

Ghana Police Service duo Balkisu Saleem and Zenabu Mohammed also make a return.
