Tusk (yellow) v Knights

Adenta Tusk has recorded its maiden in the 2018/2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II season earlier today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

Tusk scored a 67-59 win over Ada Knights for a rebound performance after losing its first game of the season to Junior Reformers.

The game lacked overall quality shooting as both teams missed several shots from all over the court until the final quarter with Adenta making the most.

The game score was tied at 28 at the end of the second quarter with the lead changing several times prior to half time.

Several missed shots characterized the third quarter which had no winner with the game tied at 39 and nothing to separate the teams heading to the final quarter.

However, Frederick Gyan and Bajigah Mohammed of Adenta Tusk had a strong fourth quarter to give Adenta the eight points win. Knights lost its way in the final minutes attempting ill advised shots that cost them the chance to record its second win in two games.
