C2 (red) v Community 4.
Tema Community 2 Captain Prince Owusu believes his team’s experience will come in handy in its tough duel against Nungua Coldstore later tonight.

The game is the first semifinal matchup in this year’s Tema Community Basketball League and tips off at 16:30 GMT at the Tema Community 4 Court.

Francophone Stars and Tema Heat face off in the last game of the day. Francophone is a debutant in the 2018 campaign while Heat placed third in last year’s competition.

Speaking in an interview on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports basketball program “Courtside”, Owusu alluded C2’s experience will be key just like it was in the team’s first round triumph over defending champions Tema Community 4.

“Community 2 has the experience…and a lot of these guys have played basketball for a lot of years over 20 years experience. In terms of experience, Community 2 is far more experienced. It is going to be a cracker” he said.

Coldstore won the 2016 league title and was the first seed in this year’s regular season.
