Brimah

Amida Brimah is back to old hunting grounds as the Ghanaian Center has been listed on the Austin Spurs roster for the 2018-2019 NBA Gatorade League.

The G-League as it is popularly referred to, is a developmental league with teams affiliated to those in the NBA and is a hotbed for young players and veteran players aiming for a spot on an NBA roster.

Brimah played in the league last season after graduating from the University of Connecticut and guided the team to the title while leading the league in blocked shots.

The 6 foot 11 inch player was with five time NBA Champions San Antonio Spurs a few months ago but missed the cut for San Antonio’s final roster.

He joins fellow returnees Jaron Blossomgame, Jeff Ledbetter, Jordan Green and Julian Washburn to Austin for this season.

Spurs roster features veteran Forward DeJuan Blair who played with San Antonio before heading to the Chinese League. Young players Chimezie Metu and Drew Eubanks are on track to join the team as the season rolls along.
