Ghana Forward Ben Bentil played for Persiteri GS 87-78 win over Lavrio in Week 7 of the ongoing Greek A1 Basketball League.

The win is Peristeri’s seventh win in as many games this season in its return campaign in the elite division after topping the lower tier last season.

Bentil scored 10 points in 19 minutes in the win adding six rebounds and two blocks with no turnovers off the bench.

The former Boston Celtics Combo Forward has been consistent in his maiden run in Greece after a wild debut in European competition last season in France and Spain where his performances fluctuated.

He is averaging 10.4 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this season for the current leaders of the 14 team league division.

Persiteri leads the league with 14 points ahead of powerhouses Panthinaikos and Olympiakos who will be in action later tonight.

Peristeri Guards Gray Stevens and Ryan Harrow led the team in scoring as both players registered 15 points. The team is next in action on December 8 against Panathinaikos.
