Ghana Forward/Center Ernest Aflakpui has delivered a 12 point, 12 rebound performance in Temple University’s 85-74 win over East Carolina University in the NCAA earlier today.

Aflakpui was in fine form for the Owls as they recorded a 14th win in 17 games this season; East Carolina drops to eight wins and nine losses in as many games.

The 6 foot 10 inch player started the game and played 30 minutes converting four of five shots from the field and converting all four attempts from the free throw line.

Aflakpui made his presence count on the boards as he grabbed nine rebounds on the defensive end and three rebounds on the offensive end.

In his final year at Temple, Aflakpui has chipped in better production this season than at any point in his four year stay in College.

He is set to be in line for Temple as they prepare to take on Penn State University on Saturday, January 19 at home. Aflakpui was one of only four Temple players to score in double figures.
