Former Tema Community Basketball League Champions Tema Community 4 has got off to a not so impressive start in the 2019 season.
Four games into the new season; Tema C4 has two wins and two losses after falling 35-38 to Francophone Stars in the last round of games played over the weekend.
After grabbing a 57-44 win over close rival Tema Community 2, Community 4 was billed to build on the impressive result and surge up the standings.
The 2017 league champions rank seventh in the 12 team league standings with six points with Francophone Stars moving up to second place.
Beating C4 gave Stars its third win of the season after a shaky start with a win in three games. Defending League Champions Nungua Coldstore lead the standings after grabbing four wins in four appearances.
In other results recorded in the completed round, Tema Wildcats lost 42-43 to Sakumono Titans, Tema Rockets continue to improve after grabbing a 47-33 win over Teshie Vikings while Teshie Rangers lost 42-69 to Spintex Knights.
