For the second week in a row, Teshie Vikings completed a game in the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League in the win column.

Vikings beat Francophone Stars 36-29 exactly a week after stunning Spintex Knights for its first win of the season. After a torrid start to the season losing four games on the bounce, Vikings are getting their acts together in time to salvage the campaign.

In the opening game, a three point shooting clinic by Point Guard Andrews Ayienab led Tema Heat to a big 63-37 win over Teshie Rangers in the opening game of the round.

The matchup between veteran laden sides Tema Community 2 and Tema Rockets ended in a 40-35 win for C2 who overcame a 16-18 first quarter deficit.

Converting from the free throw line, Jeffrey Djimatey and Kofi Attafuah iced the game for Community 2 late in the final quarter after getting a rare three point shot from the top of the key from Forward Prince Owusu.

In the final game, Tema Wildcats put its 30-36 loss to Tema Community 4 in the previous round to clinch a 36-31 win over Akatsi Rifles.

The exciting matchup had the young Wildcats match Rifles intensity and size to overcome a first half 13-17 deficit to seal the win on the back of an impressive shooting performance three point range.

All four games were played at the Tema Community 4 Court earlier today.
