Teshie Vikings have recorded two wins in the ongoing 2019 Tema Community Basketball League with the wins coming against Spintex Knights and Francophone Stars.
Vikings beat Francophone 36-29 in the immediate past round while beating Knights to the win in a 43-42 victory two weeks back at the Tema Community 4 Court.
Later this weekend, Francophone Stars and Knights will face off in the first game of the latest round at the league venue at 15:30 GMT.
The game is one of four fixtures lined up for Sunday with neither team having a great season thus far with Stars losing 23-58 to Tema Rockets and Knights losing 46-47 to Tema Wildcats.
After surprising the league in its debut season to clinch the bronze medal and place third in preseason-BetWay Hoops Tournament, Stars are having it tough in its second season.
Knights on the other hand, are competing in the league for the first time. Rockets play Tema Heat in the second game while Community 4 plays Sakumono Titans and defending league champions Nungua Coldstore play Wildcats.
