Tema Community 2 has moved up into the top four spots in the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League regular season.
After grabbing a win over Spintex Knights in the latest round of games played over this past weekend at the Tema Community 4 Court, Community 2 is trending up the standings.
Last season’s fourth placed team is in third place behind defending league champions Nungua Coldstore and Sakumono Titans. However, C2 has played fewer games than Coldstore and Titans.
In eight games, the team has five wins while Titans have four wins in 10 games played this season. Nungua has won all nine games played.
After suffering a 31-43 loss to Tema Rockets, Tema Heat bounced back to clinch a 38-27 win over Tema Wildcats in the final game played on Sunday.
Last season’s finalist have been inconsistent throughout the 2019 campaign but has an even record after eight games and ranks seventh in the league.
