Air Force v Galaxy in Division II 2019 game

Ghana Air Force Teams competing in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) lost games in the last round of games honoured at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The Male team lost 53-65 to University of Ghana (UG) in the Men’s Division II for the second time in the ongoing campaign; UG beat Air Force 54-47 in the first round matchup at the same venue.

In the Women’s Division, Air Force lost 34-50 to Tudu Galaxy in a shock win for the latter who recorded a second win in 10 league outings.

Galaxy featured in the just ended CAP7 Memorial Basketball Tournament and placed fourth; the team looks to continue its improved form to push into the top four spots.

Air Force did not compete in the tournament as a team but had members of the team feature for participating teams including Ghana Navy.

Thanks to its win, UG continues to stay atop the standings in the Men’s Division II; this is the tertiary team’s maiden run in the league.
