A crucial game between Ghana Navy and Ghana Fire Service is due to be played later today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division.

The game has third ranked side Navy taking on fourth ranked side Fire Service with jump ball scheduled at 15:00 GMT in Tudu.

Two points separate the two sides as Navy has 17 points from winning seven of 10 games this season while Fire Service has 15 points from winning five games in 10 appearances.

Navy is coming off a disappointing run in the recently concluded 2019 CAP7 Memorial Basketball Tournament at the same venue.

Reformers of Prisons beat Navy 28-25 and the former went on to clinch bronze in the competition thanks to a 38-20 win over Tudu Galaxy.

Galaxy’s Junior side plays Novas in the Men’s Division II immediately after the Navy-Fire matchup before Braves of Customs play bottom side Kawukudi Warriors. Braves lead the Men’s Division I standings.

Navy v Reformers (Green)
Fire (white) v Braves
Air Force v Galaxy in a previous game.
