Ghanaian basketball prospect Ebenezer Dowuona has decided to play for North Carolina State University’s Men’s Basketball team after 2020.

The youngster made the decision recently can confirm and has accepted the University’s scholarship offer.

Dowuona was recruited by a host of universities in the United States including Auburn University, Georgia Tech and Tulane University.

The younger brother of Purdue University Center Emmanuel Dowuona was also heavily recruited by San Diego State University. San Diego has a prominent Ghanaian contingent in Nathan Mensah and Joel Mensah on its roster.

Ebenezer Dowuona joins fellow recruits Cam Hayes and Nick Farrar for North Carolina next year; Hayes is a Point Guard and Farrar plays Small Forward.

The 6 foot 10 inch Ghanaian is likely to play Center behind Manny Bates and D. J. Funderburk in his freshman year in 2020.

Dowuona is in his final/senior High School year at The Heritage School in Newnan, Georgia and is considered a raw athletic prospect who thrives on the defensive side of the court but has shown potential on the offensive end.
