Reformers of Prisons and Tema Youth will conclude their respective runs in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I tonight.
The two sides face off at 19:30 GMT at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu after Reformers Female side plays Ghana Navy in the Women’s Division which tips off at 17:30 GMT at the same venue.
Set to finish with a losing record irrespective of the result tonight, Reformers gave themselves a good chance to finish the season in fine form after grabbing a shock 54-51 win over second ranked Adenta Leopards in its last appearance.
A win tonight gives the team a two game winning run to conclude the season and end Tema’s dreams of making it to the postseason.
Team Youth needs a win to move into fourth place currently occupied by Adabraka CYO; Tema has 23 points while CYO has 24 points.
Tema looked to be in a great spot to make the playoffs until a five game losing run early in the second round all but erased such thoughts.
