Accra Wesley Girls High School Basketball Coach Curlsbonny Owusu has stated his team’s latest triumph didn’t come easy at all in an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com
Wesley Girls beat Ghana Christian High International School (GCHIS) 12-11 to win the Dynamics School League (DSL) Invitational Tournament at the Senior High School level.
The competition took place this past weekend at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Court in Ghana’s capital, Accra with the likes of Alpha Beta School competing.
Speaking after guiding his team to win the maiden edition of the DC Dynamics run competition, Coach Curls said:
“We got great teams competitive matches we played and at the end we came out successfully even the final game we won but it wasn’t easy”.
Accra Wesley is preparing to play in upcoming tournaments including the Accra Mayor’s Cup and Sprite Ball Championship in the coming weeks. Accra Wesley won silver at the 2018 Sprite Ball.
GCHIS beat Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon) 30-22 to win the Boys Division.
