Veteran Shooting Guard Baniba Dodzi made his debut appearance in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I playoffs.

Dodzi had been absent throughout the postseason for Braves of Customs but return to the lineup in Game 2 of the Men’s Division I Playoff Finals against Adenta Leopards.

With the sharp shooter on the wing, Braves rolled to an impressive 82-69 win over Leopards in Game 2 to force a deciding third game tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu at 17:00 GMT.

The former Ghana Basketball Award Most Valuable Player Award winner needed just nine minutes to score nine points and help Braves fight back from a 57-65 Game One loss.

Dodzi scored a three pointer not long after subbing into the game late in the third quarter and drained of two free throws. He scored another three pointer and added a layup after pulling off a nifty eurostep move before checking out of the game.

Playing against Adenta was Dodzi’s first appearance in the league since featuring Braves Basketball Africa League qualifiers in Benin.
