Takoradi Technical University (TTU) Oliers clinched its second win in a row in the latest round of Western Basketball Association (WBA) League games.

Oilers beat Viking Warriors 48-23 at Oilers home court in Ghana’s Western Regional capital, Sekondi-Takoradi. Oil City Kings topped St. John’s School 42-26 to complete games in Week 3.

In its previous matchup, Oilers beat Oil City Dragons 28-20 and clinched its latest win without highly rated Forward Samuel Abbey.

Oilers Center Mustapha Ahmed Salim was named Most Valuable Player in the matchup; the loss is Warriors second in the season.

In Kings win over St.John’s, James McKeon was named the Most Valuable Player in the game; St. John’s was coming of 38-23 win over Eff-Ess that had Forward Hamza Toure win the MVP Award in the game.

St. John’s is preparing for the upcoming Sprite Ball Championship qualifiers due to take place in December per reports gathered by Basketballghana.com

The league commenced earlier this month on November 2.
