Countdown to the maiden edition of the Africa Basketball Festival at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Ghana’s capital, Accra is on. Ahead of the anticipated event, the Accra team has selected a strong side for the three point contest.

The three point contest is one of several competitions to mark the festival on December 24 with an All Star Game between representatives from the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I and Tema Community Basketball League.

Accra is to be represented by Braves of Customs Shooting Guard Baniba Dodzi and Adenta Leopards backcourt duo Thomas Amediku and Kontor Appiah.

All three players featured in the recently ended 2019 ABL Finals that had Braves beat Leopards for another league title via a 2-1 series win.

Amediku and Appiah emerged as strong shooters from deep in the past season that propelled Leopards to its first ever league finals appearance.

Dodzi is a renowned three point shooter with tons of experience from his playing career with Braves.
