The official list of Tema’s All Star Team has been released with the 12 man list headlined by notable names but a few eyebrows as well.
Team Tema will compete against Accra in the All Star Game at the Africa Basketball Festival at the Bukom Arena on December 24.
Team Accra announced its team recently but Tema’s list was delayed as officials sorted through a few bottlenecks. Members of the team compete in the Tema Community Basketball League.
However, Forward Joshua Anang made the list with the tough rebounder tagged as a “Free Agent” and set to battle for a starting spot in Tema’s frontcourt.
Anang played in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II for Ada Knights; only players in the Division I were selected to the Accra team making Anang eligible to play for Tema.
Tema’s All Star team is headlined by players from two time League Champions Nungua Coldstore who have four players selected. Tema Community 4 and Spintex Knights have three players included in the team.
