Keta Business College (KETABUSCO) has qualified to the final game of the 2020 Sprite Ball Championship Boys Division; this is the team’s first ever appearance in the school’s history.

KETABUSCO clinched a 33-25 win over Prempeh College in the first semifinal of this year’s competition and extend its unbeaten run in the tournament.

The early exchanges were rife with turnovers and poor shooting performance from both teams and the first 6-12 lead for Keta perfectly reflected that.

Prosper Davor and Prince Gidisu came up with big shots to lead Keta to the historic appearance; the team had previously shocked the field by beating Mfantsipim School 32-24 in the opening game.

Elvis Sarpong played well in the second half and scored six points off layup drives to the basket but quarterfinal hero Nana Sarfo was almost a non factor as he battled a leg injury.

Prempeh have to contend for a bronze medal against the losing team in the Mfantsipim School-West Africa Senior High School matchup.
