Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is in line to feature in Panathinaikos latest outing in the EuroLeague Basketball Championship this weekend.

Greek side Panathinaikos takes on Valencia from Spain on Friday, January 31 in battle between the sixth ranked team in the competition-Panathinaikos- against the seventh ranked team.

18 teams are competing in the 2019-2020 continental championship that has Turkish side Anadolou Efes leading the way with 18 wins in 21 games.

Panathinaikos has 13 wins and eight losses in 21 games and is coming off a 100-88 win over French League Champions ASVEL. Valencia has 10 wins and 11 losses thus far in the season.

Competing in the championship for the first time, Bentil has contributed from Panathinaikos bench averaging 3.1 points and 1.8 rebounds in just 7:41 minutes across 16 games.

He played eight minutes in the win over ASVEL and registered two points and three rebounds; Bentil is the first Ghana born player to play in the NBA.

He has played in France and Spain since turning professional.
