Coldstore took a 16-6 lead with Jonathan Walker scoring a layup. Knights went on a 6-0 run with Emmanuel Ocquaye converting two free throws and Benjamin Omari adding two points off a drive.

Kwame Boamah Djan delivered a two handed slam off an alley oop pass to end the quarter leading 18-12.

Knights went on an 8-2 run after Fred Asante stole the ball off Joel Tham and scored a layup. Kontor Appiah gathered a loose ball and scored another layup for Knights.

Spintex trailed 20-22 with 5: 56 left to play in the second quarter and Appiah drained a three pointer to give Knights a 23-22 lead with 3:13 left.

Appiah added another three point shot to give Knights a 28-23 lead. Backup Guard Lawal Toyin scored a layup and Djan dunked inside the paint off a brilliant team play before Appiah hit his third shot from three point range. Knights led 33-27.

Emmanuel Wolff gave Coldstore a 39-36 lead with a three point shot after Walker went on a seven point run to tie the game at 36. Walker drained another three point shot to extend Nungua’s lead (42-36).

Appiah ended Nungua’s run with two points from the free throw line. Wolff couldn’t complete a three point play after getting fouled on a layup.

Appiah and Walker traded three pointers; Coldstore led 49-45 with 7:49 minutes played.

Appiah scored five points and Asante completed a three point play to give Knights a 54-49 lead.

Tham scored a layup to end the quarter as Coldstore trailed 51-55. Dennis Dugbennu fouled out of the game with 10 seconds left in the quarter.

The teams traded baskets early on in the final quarter with Kwaku Arhin Twene getting the first basket. Appiah’s shot put Knights up 60-58. Twene and Walker scored free throws to tie the game at 62 with four minutes left to play.

Knights got a three point shot to take a 65- 62 lead with two minutes remaining. Tham scored two free throws to reduce the deficit to one (64-65) with 8:47 minutes played.

Rashid Kuta scored one of two free throws and Twene and Tham scored layups to give Coldstore a 70-67 lead with 13 seconds remaining. Wolff stole the ball off Ocquaye to ice the game.
