In an exclusive interview with, he had positive things to say about Ghana’s biggest tertiary basketball tournament despite his side’s failure to progress to the national level of the competition.

UCC lost 31-33 to arch rival Takoradi Technical University (TTU) after blowing University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) thanks to a 60-29 result. TTU beat UMaT 49-25 to clinch the title.

“I think it (UPAC) is a competition that has been around for a very long time and I feel it gives the boys a chance to come out and compete and show their skills in basketball” he said.
