Braves of Customs Men’s Basketball Team Coach Seth Okine has emphasized the teaching of fundamentals to players to aid their overall development.

He made the statement in a Question and Answer session as Accra Basketball League (ABL) teams continue to observe the league’s suspension.

The League and other basketball competitions including the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship have been suspended until further notice due to the Corona Virus spread. Ghana has 205 confirmed cases of infection at the time of writing.

Answering a question regarding inputs that would help improve players, the veteran Coach pointed to the basics.

“Its all about the basics, we just start from the middle its all about the basics. We need to let our players know how to pass, how to dribble, how to rebound, box out. Just the basics, we really need to pump the basics into their head…the basics are very important” he said.

Braves are defending ABL Men’s Division I Champions and won its 2020 season opener against Adenta Leopards.
