Basketballghana.com can confirm the appointment of a Head Coach for Tema Community 2 Basketball Club is in the works for the 2020 Season.
This was brought to life by C2 Captain Prince Owusu in a recent interview as the wait continues for the league to start as soon as possible.
A ban on social gatherings in Ghana including sporting activities is still in place in the country due to the Corona Virus pandemic that has infected over 5000 individuals in the West African nation.
“I can’t say for sure but I’m currently working towards July” Owusu responded to a question regarding a possible return to action before adding
“We are yet to discuss this (Head Coach appointment). Definitely we will have a new Coach and some new faces on the team”.
Also known as the Spartans, C2 missed out on a Final Four place in the 2019 Season that had Nungua Coldstore beat Spintex Knights in two straight games in the Finals to clinch the title.
