Tham expresses immense gratitude to Coldstore Coach Otoo

Newly signed Spintex Knights Point Guard Joel Tham has expressed his immense gratitude to Nungua Coldstore Basketball Club Coach Wendell Otoo.

He did so via a statement he released in the immediate aftermath of his shock move from Coldstore to Knights. Tham played a key role in Coldstore’s series win over Knights in the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League.

Tham played two seasons with Coldstore and won two league titles in a row with Coldstore but switched camp this offseason. The 2020 league campaign is yet to have a start date due to complications related to the corona virus outbreak that has infected over 9,000 people in Ghana.

“I want to thank you Coach Wendell (Otoo) for your gracious management of affairs concerning the welfare of the team and individual players. I am indebted to your immense sacrifice…I’m grateful from the bottom of my heart for everything you’ve sacrificed” he said.

Otoo doubles as the Manager and Bank roller of Coldstore; Nungua has won three of four titles since the Tema League’s inception in 2016.
