Tema Basketball League player registration officially opened

Basketballghana.com can confirm registration of players for the 2020 Tema Basketball League (TBL) is officially open paving the way for teams for teams to detail players they wish to have on their roster.

This message was passed on in an official press release issued earlier today by the League as activities continue to the start of the league competition.

The letter stated, “The League Directors and Organizers wish to inform basketball teams who are interested in participating in the fifth season of the Tema Basketball League to formally register their teams with the Organizing Secretary as we wait for the ban on contact sports to be lifted in the country.”

Since its inception in 2015, the league’s profile has grown over the years and is regarded as the hotbed of competitive and exciting basketball.

However, the start of the 2020 campaign continues to be in limbo due to the spread of the corona virus that has infected over 20,000 people in Ghana at the time of writing hence the ban on contact sports.

Nungua Coldstore won the 2019 season.
