Recently signed Coosur Real Betis Shooting Guard Yakuba Ouattara has praised the competitive nature of the Spanish Endesa League.

He tagged the league as the best in Europe during his unveiling as of one the latest signings by Betis ahead of the 2020-2021 season.

Ghana-born Ouattara moved from AS Monaco after spending five seasons with the club and having a short stint at Brooklyn Nets in the NBA.

He signed a two year deal with Betis and will compete against European heavyweights such Barcelona and Real Madrid for top spot in the league.

Recognizing the quality at hand in the league, the 6 foot 5 inch player said, “It is very different from the French League, it is the best national championship in Europe, I always felt that and I hope my game is the best in this due to the way we play here”.

Ouattara is known for his physical style of play and toughness on defense while being efficient on offense. He averaged 11 points and 4.4 rebounds in the French Pro A last season.
