Though the number of active cases of infection has dropped significantly over the past weeks, there are still restrictions in force in the nation.

One of such restrictions is the ban on contact sports including basketball and after several months since the ban came into effect, many in the basketball fraternity expected a resumption of activities in President Akufo-Addo’s latest speech.
