Mere hours after officially releasing uniforms for the upcoming 2020 Tema Basketball League campaign, Spintex Knights Basketball Club has sent the Ghana Basketball fraternity buzzing on social media.
The 62 seconds video had multiple players of the team pose before the cameras in dark themed and grey uniforms they will don in games.
The creative piece had a fast paced song from celebrated Ghanaian Artiste EL playing in the background with players taking turns to show off their new kit.
Newly signed Guard Joel Tham was featured prominently in the video; Tham caused a major stir when he moved to Knights after leading Nungua Coldstore to clinch a second straight league title and winning the League’s Most Valuable Player Award along the way.
Aside Tham, other new signings were featured in the video as well including Small Forward Muhaimin “Astro” Guba who moved from Tema Community 4 Club this offseason. Key players Kunor Appiah, Elvis Pobi-Siaw and Emmanuel Ocquaye are returning for their second season with Spintex.
Spintex Knights made a splash this offseason after making it to the Tema League Final in their debut season.
