Basketballghana.com can confirm young Ghanaian Basketball player Nathan Mensah has been featured in San Diego State University Athletics Department’s Diversity Campaign.

The campaign aims to shine more awareness on building an inclusive environment for minorities including African American and Asian American individuals on rosters of various sports disciplines in the University.

For the Men’s Basketball Team, Senior year Small Forward Matt Mitchell delivered the message of inclusion with Mensah as the featured personality.

“I support Nathan (Mensah) as he is under appreciated as a Black Man in America. As members of the Black Community, it is up to us to take the first step and have each other’s back” Mitchell said.

Mensah is entering his third season and is expected to play a key role in the Aztecs 2022-2021 season after his promising start to the immediate past season was cut short by health issues.
