can report North Carolina State University Men’s Basketball Team Head Coach Kevin Keatts has showered praise on budding Ghanaian star Ebenezer Dowuona.

The first year player is working towards his debut season with The Wolfpack after excelling at The Heritage School following his relocation from Ghana to the United States of America. Dowuona averaged eight point and 14 rebounds in his final year at High School.

Dowuona was ranked as the 20th best Center by ESPN in the Class of 2020 as a result and had a handful of scholarship offers before settling on North Carolina State.

“E.D. (Ebenezer Dowuona), think of a younger Manny Bates. He can block shots. He’s a physical presence and can score around the basket. He’s going to be really good” Keatts said according to media outlet gastongazette.

Bates is a third year player who plays the Power Forward position and stands at 6 foot 9 inches; Dowuona is listed at 6 foot 11 inches.
