Bentil

After missing out on a 77-80 loss to Anadolou Efes, Ghana’s Ben Bentil returned to action and competed for Greek side Panathinaikos in the team’s latest EuroLeague outing.

Bentil scored four points and added two defensive rebounds to his tally in 8:15 minutes off the bench in an 83-95 loss to Spanish Giant Valencia Basketball Club in Spain.

The loss is Panathinaikos fifth in seven games this season while Valencia moves to five wins in eight games for the season. Valencia ranks fifth and Panathinaikos ranks 15th on the 18 team standings respectively.

The Sekondi native converted one of two three point shot attempts and converted at the same clip on free throw attempts in the contest.

Recently signed Guard Shelvin Mack formerly of the Utah Jazz in the NBA led Panathinaikos in scoring with 15 points on the back of converting all three attempts from three point range.

Bentil should feature in Friday’s continental contest against Baskonia in Spain before attention witches to the Greek league.
